CES Background
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the annual premier tech event and trade show. The world’s biggest tech brands will show new and cutting-edge products soon to be on the market.
CES started in New York City in 1967, with 250 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees. With the event gaining popularity and momentum, it evolved from a single event to a biannual tradeshow from 1978 – 1994. Locations varied from Chicago, Orlando, and Las Vegas. Eventually, the event settled on wintertime in Vegas, where it has been held annually since 1998.
CES currently spans over 4 days with over 3000 exhibitors and has evolved to be the tech industry’s most talked about event of the year. With tech leaders like Canon, Microsoft, Panasonic, Samsung, Google, and many more, it’s definitely the place to be for the first look at the years’ emerging tech.

CES 2026 was held in Las Vegas, with over 11 different locations and more than 2 million net square feet of exhibitors. The event wass spread amongst the Las Vegas Strip and separated into 3 geographic areas, Tech East, Tech West, and Tech South.
