Im sorry if this was already posted, but i just ordered windows 7 from the little packet that came with my computer (CZ-10 Ultra 2)

Now how will i update when the full version comes out or will it be the full version? Im not sure how this will work, any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

If you are doing the upgrade path check this out.

But I would do a clean install of windows 7.

Thanks for the link maxum.

Personally i am a little hesitant to buy a computer now with the free win 7 upgrade. I always like to have clean installs, and more so with OS's.

Vista being vista, it gives me the creeps just running it for a while and also just upgrading from it. That little voice is saying " just wait till it's available, then buy"

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone can put my mind at ease so I can buy my new puter!

Well regardless thanks for any replies :)

How to Clean Install Windows Vista with Upgrade Media

This should work the same with Window7 Upgrade DVD. So you can get a clean install if you want to.

If we bought an ibuypower.com PC with the upgrade coupon, where do we get the media from? Is it downloaded?

Thanks!

The double install method does not work with Windows 7, because the version you install over has to be activated. It's much easier now with Win 7, just boot to the DVD and do a custom install and format.
