I see a lot more people choosing Intel over AMD and i was just curious to why... If you could give me your input that'd be great. Thanks Again, zpanzer.

Intel in the past has always had a better reputation for overclocking. Price/performance intel is better IMO. Although recently it seems that with the new phenoms, they overclock MUCH better than the previous ones did.

Int. has higher stable overcloaking % than amd

For a while AMD was producing better CPUs, but they seemed to falter with the dual cores. I'm not sure how stable each has been with respect to overclocking, but I'm not certain I'd use "always" in that sentence.

intel is better, and amd is not matching up with intel new stuff, and way faster.

Both AMD and Intell have the good and the bads. get AMD if you are running lower games like WoW. but if you want to play codmw2 at the full specks get Intel. also AMD is a load cheaper. you get what you pay for.

It had been a pretty close race for a long time, but in the last couple years Intel has managed the spike in technology advancement with so much more stability and professionalism that it would be impossible for me to pick AMD over Intel at this point--a  lot would have to change first.
